Hey everyone! Long time, no blog. I've been crazy occupied and I will try to get back to all the wonderful people who have left me comments and check out all the awesome new followers I have! Thanks to all of you guys!
Now, I haven't really done too many new things, but here is my week in a nutshell. First, literally (it's the first thing you see when you walk in the front door), a GIANT blessing for our nest.
it's pretty funky.
Mr. Cranky Pants and I really like it. We're not too sure if anyone else does or will!
I just love love LOVE my typewriter, and mixing up weird-vintage-sweet-aged-new finds.
Next I have my *almost* finished chair I told you about here.
My awesome friend Karyn gave me this black fabric and I put it to good use! She has a great blog called Compulsively Compiled, you should follow her!

now on to Mr. Cranky Pants' finds, he went to an estate sale today and brought all this stuff home. He was so excited, he set it all up for me to take a picture of.

Your chair is looking good! I'm glad that fabric is getting put to use.
The Mr. was very successful in his finds. That pipe piece is cool. I could just see it with a plant spilling out. And so romantic that he was thinking about you when he was out...obvious by the milkglass pieces. Oh, and Parker looks adorable!

first your sweet little boy with a retro diner vibe? aDORE! second, i love the color combos and the different letters-they totally work! great stuff. oh, and third-totally jealous of the mr. who goes to estate sales and brings back great stuff. mine would go and come home with tools or something. altho we did just by an old victrola...so maybe that's progress!

"Bless this Nest" looks great! I love the fact that all the letters are different--it gives it some charm. (I did something similiar with our last name.) And your little ice cream server is simply adorable!
